Our Ethos
We use the freshest, high quality ingredients to make our premium hearty homemade ready meals. We use tried and tested recipes to bring the absolute best dishes to your table each week.
Wherever possible everything is homemade including bread, sauces, pies, dips, soups, pastries and cakes - meaning healthy meals with almost zero ultra processed ingredients.
We shop locally wherever possible sourcing ingredients from local butchers and produce stores.

How to Order - Weekly Ready Meals
Weekly menus are released on Monday and can be viewed on social media @grubkitchenmeals or message Katie on 07773027518 to be added to a WhatsApp broadcast list. All orders are then to be placed by 6pm on the Thursday of the same week.
A mixture of frozen and fresh meals are prepared over the weekend ready for collection/delivery after 2pm the following Monday giving you delicious meals that can be eaten throughout the week - helping to make your week simple and hassle free.
At the moment all orders are taken via message and payment received via bank transfer.
About Event Catering
We love catering for events. Whether its a traditional cold buffet with homemade sausage rolls, pork pies, scotch eggs and bread rolls we love preparing all of these items fresh for your buffet. Equally we can turn our hand to hot bowl food for your event. What we find works best is preparing a bespoke menu based on your requirements, meeting the needs of you and all of your guests. We have prepared Gluten Free and Vegan buffets with great success in the past!

The Face Behind Grub Kitchen

Meet Katie
Owner and founder of Grub Kitchen - Katie Redfern
" I have always had a passion for cooking passed down to me by my Nana and Mum. I enjoy cooking for family and friends, hosting dinner parties, eating out and trying new cuisine in the UK and overseas. I have always batch cooked at weekends in order to get our meals for the week ready ahead and ensure we are having tasty and nutritious meals even when we might be short of time.
For the last 20 years I have worked in marketing and advertising but have always hankered after a career in catering. Due to my love of batch cooking and getting positive feedback from friends and family when I cook for them, I decided to launch Grub Kitchen – a meal prep business - in the summer of 2025. It really took off and within 8 short weeks I was cooking 100 meals a week for families.
I have taken so much enjoyment in helping my customers to have delicious meals ready for them to simply reheat and serve with minimal fuss and minimal washing up!
I love home cooked comfort food and really I think there is nothing better than a good old British pub lasagne with a side of chips! However, I also take inspiration in my cooking from Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours and I also love cooking Asian cuisine.
